International Messages

I have a UK number, and my friend has a US number. When we use Messages I understand that my data is being used. But is either one of us being charged per message or is Messages always free as long as the bubble is blue? Between both of our numbers this should still be free as long as it’s all blue correct? I don’t want them to be charged for anything.

You're correct - you're not being charged for international text messages when you're using iMessage, even if the phone numbers are different countries.

iMessage uses cellular data or wifi.
