2017 MacbookAir to two external monitors

Hi,

I want to connect two monitors to my Macbook Air.

It has one Thunderbolt 2 port and two USB ports.

I'd be grateful for any ideas.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

You can't. The 2017 MacBook Air only supports 1 external monitor. Up to a maximum resolution of 3840x2160.

You will be using the Thunderbolt 2 port for it. Through an adapter cable which matches the screen you wish to hook up.

I'm using a 4k HDMI mini-display port (which is the same connection as Thunderbolt 2) to HDMI converter to hook up my LG UHD 4k screen (3840x2160) resolution to my 2017 Air. Tried it at first with a normal HDMI cable, but then I couldn't set the resolution of the screen higher than 1920x1080.

So depending on the screen you wish to hook up you need either a mini display->HDMI or mini display->display port converter. Or if you have an older screen either with DVI or VGA.

Hope this helps :)
