Good afternoon Kschub95,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand you are missing notes on your MacBook Pro. Can you provide a little more information about your issue?

Are your notes saved only on your Mac, or do you have iCloud Notes enabled? When you sign into your Apple ID account at www.iCloud.com, do you see your notes? Is there anything in the Recently Deleted folder?

If you do not have iCloud Notes enabled on your Mac, do you have a recent Time Machine backup you can restore to?

Take a look at the resources below to get started:

Change your iCloud feature settings

Restore items backed up with Time Machine on Mac

Take care.

Hi Allen,

Thank you for your reply!

Sure, I can provide more information. This happens the second time during the last 2 years: I don't do anything special like updating IOS or updating programs, one day I just open my notes and there is nothing there. All my notes collected for a year are gone. There is nothing in recently deleted notes. Unfortunately, I don't have Time Machine backup and in my iCloud I have notes only from iPhone.

:(

Are there any other ways to figure out what has happened?

Thanks in advance!
