when i try using the photos on face time i keep getting a message facetime photos need to be enabled on both devices they are what do i do to fix it

On my and my boyfriends phones were tryin to use the lens but it says FaceTime photos need to be enabled on both devices. They are so how can we fix it

Set up FaceTime for Live Photos

  1. In the FaceTime app  on your Mac, choose FaceTime > Preferences, then click Settings.
  2. Select the “Allow Live Photos to be captured during Video calls” checkbox.

By selecting this option, you’re also allowing others to take Live Photos of you.
