Your screen repair is only covered if you have "AppleCare+ Protection Plan" (which includes accidental damage protection). If you only have the regular AppleCare Protection Plan (not the plus ("+")) or only the regular 1-year Apple warranty it is not covered and you must pay for screen repair I am afraid to say my friend.
If you have insurance through your mobile phone carrier though, you can make an insurance claim through your carrier and pay the deductible for them to replace your iPhone. This does not involve Apple though and is between you and your mobile carrier's insurance provider.
Otherwise, if you do not have carrier insurance, nor AppleCare+ coverage, it is US$329 for screen repair at the Apple store (for example) or a similar price through Apple Authorized Service Providers (https://locate.apple.com).
