Ethernet ports on the Linksys Velop

I'm going to be setting up a Mesh network in my home with the Linksys Velop pods. Looking over them, I see they have two ethernet ports each. I would like to plug two Desktop PCs into one of the additional pods, as I never installed Wifi receivers into them. My question is, can this be done? or is one of the ports "input only" for connection to a modem?

Connect a MacBook to AirPort Extreme via ethernet I have an Airport Extreme that I use to connect a couple of Macs and iPhones wirelessly to the internet. I have one MacBook Air that is near the Airport, and I want to connect it directly via ethernet to the Airport. When I do this, I don't know how to get the MacBook to use the direct connection -- it currently keeps using the wireless connection. How do I get my MacBook to use the ethernet connection? I am running Ventura 13.1, and the Airport Utility is 6.3.9. Thanks!

Mac Mini has one ethernet port - can you split it for two different tasks? I’m thinking of buying a mac mini. My current computer has two ethernet ports: 1st) is used to connect to another computer and 2nd) port is used for ethernet connection to my router. Is it possible for one port (split in two) to do both internet and local data transfer at the same time?
