I purchased an ipad from estate auction. How can I reset the device to allow me to use it with my apple id? I purchased an ipad from estate auction. This auction was a friend from high schools parents. There is no record of the apple id and password. My friend does not know the apple id or password. He will vouch for me that it was purchased from his parents auction. I want to restore the ipad back to factory settings and use my apple id and password now.
