AirPod setup trouble

Left AirPod not playing after trouble connecting my AirPods. How do I get both my AirPods to play? My right AirPod lost connection and isn't playing.

iPhone 7, iOS 12

How to Reset AirPods

  1. Ensure that both AirPods are in their charging case and that both the earbuds and the case have charge.
  2. Locate the small button on the back of the case, near the bottom. ... 
  3. Open the charging case lid.
  4. Press and hold the button on the back of the case for at least 15 seconds.
