What is the native resolution on the 30" Cinema Display?

To get full resolution you need DUAL-LINK DVI. Most adapters are single-link DVI even if they use a dual-link connector.


You could use this USB-C to Mini DisplayPort adapter

https://www.uptab.com/usb-c/usb-c-to-mini-displayport/

followed by a Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter.

There are other USB-C adapters but the UPTab one is designed to work with DVI adapters:

"With our new chip this adapter will work together with Active in-line DVI-D or DVI to Mini DisplayPort Adapters."
