Accidentally turned two-factor auth on
I have advocated against two-factor auth. since it was introduced. Simply because I used to work for a cell phone company and I remember seeing hundreds of people lose access to their icloud account because they lost their phone and could not authorize.
Well now I have accidentally turned it on while trying to get my iMessages to work, and now I cannot turn it off.
How would I use Find My iPhone or other iCloud services without my phone to authorize?
Two factor authorization has been on my account for less than 5 hours, cant anyone at apple just turn it off please? I appriciate the security concern but I will definitely lose my phone at some point and will need to use Find my Iphone or another service that will require me to log in elsewhere.
We should have the option to turn it off, I have had my apple ID for a long long time.
