12.3.2 iOS update and battery issues

Updated my to the latest 12.3.2 , at night , my battery was 3% low , so I charged it as usual .... awhile it went dead , so is fine , restarted after around 20 minutes at 1% , so I just ignored it throughout the night , and to my shocked waking up at 5 am , battery was still at 1% , after searching the internet , no solution , decided to turn off the device and charge it , and after 2 hours 93% , and then my other lightning cable the device is deeming them , non compatible .
