I blocked a person's phone number after I sent them a text & about 30 minutes they were able to text me back and it came through as an iMessage.. I am pretty confused on why it was able to come through after I blocked them & wonder if anyone else is having the same issue.

If their iCloud account is not associated with the phone number that you blocked, then your phone has no way of knowing it's the same individual.

Did they send the iMessage from an email address (I.e. not their iPhone cellular telephone number) that you don’t have in their contact that you blocked?
