Pages Update

I have OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6 on iMac and am trying to update Pages so that I can share documents with another user, who is already on an updated version of Pages.

App will not update, any advise please?

iMac 21.5", OS X 10.11

Use Pages for iCloud to share your Pages v5.6.2 document with another person, or use Mail with a Pages document attachment. Newer versions of Pages can open your older Pages document.

Apple keeps no full downloads of past Pages applications, and the current Pages 8 in the Mac App Store requires High Sierra or later before it can be installed.
