need help switching from old ipad to new

My old iPad only has software version 10.3.3 no longer receiving update request.... I bought an iPad Air and would like to transfer what I have on to the new one. I tried quick start but it says you need software version 11 or higher. How can I do this transfer?

You can backup the old to your computer's iTunes and restore that backup onto the new iPad : Transfer content from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
