had my phone for around 6 months, last few weks keeps opening apps by itself, very jumpy scren and when texting completely sending different messages. Has anyone else having these problems?

See this support document for troubleshooting touchscreen issues, including contacting Apple Support if necessary. You can make a Genius Bar appointment to have the device checked by Apple.
