How to turn of the screen capture on my iPhone XR

Since the power button on my iPhone is right across from volume button that you push to take a screen capture, I put the two all the time together and get a screenshot. But I can't find a way to turn off this "feature" on the phone? Can anyone help please, Thanks Louis
