Icloud not uploading properly

I came back from a long trip and realized that a lot of my Ipad Pro photos and documents have not uploaded properly even though I have now had good Wifi access for five days. It seems my last photos and docs have uploaded but there are many random missing ones. My iCloud is set up to Backup automatically and I've been pressing 'Back up Now' to help with the updates and uploads but it just takes ones minute and still does not upload properly. What can I do please? THanks.

Are they not syncing to iCloud.com properly or not backing up to your backup? Photos and documents being synced to iCloud aren't included in an iCloud backup. If you are missing the photos and documents at iCloud.com, try Settings/Your Name/iCloud and slide off syncing. Wait a few minutes and then slide syncing on. Allow time for syncing to occur.

Last resort - have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
