Migrated iPhotos library to Photos but am now unable to open it

I migrated my iPhotos library to Photos but am now unable to open it in Photos plus I've lost my albums. Clicking on Learn More says download iPhotos or Aperture but neither are available through the App Store. Suggestions?

When you migrate an iPhoto Library to Photos by opening it in Photos, Photos will create a new Photos Library. After you migrate the iPhoto Library you should use this new Photos Library, not the iPhoto Library.migratedphotolibrary.

Look in your Pictures folder (or the folder where you kept your iPhoto Library) for this new library. It will have the rainbow colored flower icon.
