Early 2015 MacBook Pro Retina update to 10.14.5 and bluetooth now not available

Following the update to 10.14.5, I now have a MBP with not available Bluetooth. It's worked perfectly for 4 years but immediately after applying the update tonight, now not available. I've reset the SMC, deleted the Bluetooth plist files and reset the PRAM.

All to no avail.

Ideas?

try this:

Reset bluetooth if wonky.

From the OS X desktop, hold down the Shift+Option keys and then click on the Bluetooth menu item to reveal the hidden Debug menu
