my Macbook randomly started flickering multicolored lines

Yesterday I closed my laptop and when I opened it this morning it randomly started flickering multicolored lines. Sometimes the macbook glitches and the complete screen turns white. Ive already restarted my Mac multiple times but it only seems to be getting worse. does anyone know what to do about this?
