my screen board iPad Pro 2018 is unreliable , not registering keystrokes or very delayed
I’ve tried without screen protector and new screen protector but no difference
restarting makes little difference if at all
it perhaps seems to get worse with time of use
though not consistent
are others finding this ?

If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- When an application isn't working as expected, a good step is deleting and reinstalling the app. Since you can't delete the onscreen keyboard on your iPad, I'd like for you to reinstall iOS. The section titled "Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again" will walk you through all the steps to reinstall iOS software on your device. See if the response of the onscreen keyboard improved.
