Plug in HomePod.
HomePod doesn't seem to come with a power cord, or am I wrong? If it doesn't how is it powered?
Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!

Thank you. I can't understand then, why none of the illustrations show a connecting power cord. Not cute? Inelegant? Not even in the picture which illustates the HomePod in a room. Pfft. Maybe it's too ugly.
Nice and thin, cloth covered, but nobody bought an appliance for its cable. I’m sure the marking types just prefer images where it doesn’t show.
I’m sure they are world rated and the cable is thinner than that on other appliances I have. Odd there is different opinion on that detail.

Yes it has a power cord. It in fact can’t be (or shouldn’t be) removed. It’s a very thick cord attached to it in the box.
If yours doesn’t, you need to return it.
This is mine, thinner than a biro.

There is a cord with a fitted plug. It runs on mains power only.

cloth covered? Mine is a big fat ugly rubber cord. I hate it! The white one comes with a white cord
I think you're right and thank you for the reply.
I'm not a marketing type. I'm a consumer so I appreciate seeing the whole thing on screen.
You're welcome. 🙂

Ok msybe I exaggerated. I’m just not a fan of cords showing.
By the way... How is it that what looks like a HomePod in your picture is blue?
Might be the lighting, as fas I know they only come in white or space grey
Oy Oi Oy.
Yep, it’s the Space Grey model. Any apparent hint of colour is purely accidental. Taken with an iPhone 6+, no flash.
