I have no idea what’s going on with my MacBook Air 2018 screen.

Hi! So, last night, my MacBook Air 2018 was working perfectly when I watching videos on YouTube. However, I kept hearing a crackling noise and then, the screen started to flicker where the brightness would dim. I turned the brightness all the way down to see that the right side of the screen above the Touch ID was completely dark.

So, I decided to turn it off until the morning and to my surprise, it was back to what it was before until I decided to watch something on YouTube again for the screen to black out where I can hear sound but no display.

Now, it looks something like this where there’s a pocket of brightness at the bottom and a complete dark screen: https://imgur.com/a/0Zl4jhO

I tried to reset the SMC and the PRAM and the Apple logo showed up for a second, only to disappear with a vertical white line.

SN: It’s been flickering for sometime now, on and off, where a black screen and something resembling a crack would flash and then, the screen would go back to whatever I was doing. I thought it was the software since I’m running on OS 10.14.5. I thought it was okay to use until up until this very moment.

If there’s anything to recommend/suggest, please do! I’ll need all I could possibly get right now. Thank you in advance!
