I installed new transitions (FCPX 10.2.3) but they're not showing. Please help!

A general rule is: if a template is created in a newer version of Motion than the corresponding version of FCPX, FCPX will not run it. Even though you have your templates correctly installed, you stated you have FCPX 10.2.3 which was released on Feb. 4, 2016 and was updated to 10.3 on Oct. 27, 2016. Any template created with Motion 5.3 or higher will be "ignored" by FCPX and it will put up a Red alert icon as shown (same as if it were incorrectly installed.

What you need to do is determine when your transitions were created (before or after the Oct 27, 2016 date). If they were created before, then they are not completely correctly installed. If they were created after, then you have the versioning problem.

Your installation image only shows the paths up to the template folders, and no more information about them. If each of the folders are correctly configured, then they contain a "large.png", "small.png", "Media" folder and the .motr Motion transition project file. If not, then they are not correctly configured.

If the installations are correctly configured and you have a versioning problem, let me know. You may be able to backdate them to your version of FCPX (unless there's a chance you can upgrade FCPX to a more modern version - which is the recommended solution.)
