Family sharing account

I currently pay for my own Apple Music account which i've had for about a year and a half now, however my dad is offering to set up a family account so I don't have to pay anymore. I would obviously like to switch to a family sharing account, but I don't know if I will lose all my playlists. Is there a way I can transfer my current playlists onto this new account, or will they move onto there automatically?
