Email question

I received a message yesterday from service@apple.com letting me know my Apple ID has been temporarily locked. They said this may happened because my Apple ID was signed in with new device and different location. They wanted me to verify my information as soon as possible or I will be permanently locked . I don't keep any credit card information on my account anymore because a company called Pintamaster from Google keeps taking money out of my account and I have notified Google several times now about this account and it was cancelled but they are still taking money from my account so I don't have a credit card listed on my account and if I buy anything I enter my card only for the purchase and that's all!! The Country : Finland.

Date and Time:. Friday, June 14,2019. 10:48 PM

IP Address:. 18.84.46.165

Operating System:. Android.

This is the information they sent to me on my phone.

Can you please help me to find out what this is all about? I am the only one who has access to my phone and to make any purchases and I didn't make any at 10:48 PM at night !!

Thank you!

Scam/phishing email.

Apple won't send you an email/text telling you your account is disabled/restricted  or will be disabled/restricted. You will find out the next time you try to log in somewhere.

Apple will always address you by your name or the name they have on file for you, not Dear Customer, Dear Client or by using your e-mail address.  The e-mail will be from @apple.com or @iTunes.com. E-mail addresses can be spoofed. You can go to Mail/View/Message/Show all Headers to see more. Apple e-mails will never contain an attachment. Apple will never request personal information by email such as Social Security numbers, your Mother’s maiden name or full credit card numbers .

The only exception to the above I have noticed is if you order something from the Apple Store (apple.com), your receipt will be addressed to Dear Apple Customer. That is a receipt for a purchase you initiated.

Avoid phishing emails, fake ‘virus‘ alerts, phony support calls, and other scams

Identifying legitimate emails from the iTunes Store

Send the e-mail to Apple as an attachment to a new e-mail before deleting it. You can forward as an attachment by going to Mail/Message/Forward as attachment. You won’t receive a response.
