How do I hide redundant (i.e. cloud copies) copies of songs in iTunes 12.7.5.9?

Every time I buy a song in itunes, I get two copies. One normal copy and one copy with a cloud download symbol next to it. When I listen to music, it plays both, so I listen to each song twice. It's pretty silly, and previous posts on this matter suggest clicking on view -> only downloaded music, but I don't see anything like that, and it's driving me crazy. How do I turn off the cloud copies of songs? I'm using itunes in windows 7.

Sign out of your Apple ID. Sign in again. This should normally remove all cloudy copies. Persistent items that won't disappear can be hidden from your purchase history.
