External Webcam use in Safari

Hi all!

I am preparing for a virtual interview through Sparkhire.com. I purchased the Supertemblor Pro Stream 1080p after seeing its reviews & recommendations for use with Macbook. I haven’t received it yet and I am not certain IF I will have any issues, BUT I am preparing as if I will have issues. The interview has time restrictions and I won’t have time to troubleshoot once I click the interview link.

Will I need to change the camera to use in Safari preferences if I’ve already set it as the camera in Mac preferences?

Does Safari even allow to use an external webcam?

IF Safari does not allow for use of a separate webcam would it work with Chrome or Firefox?

I will also need to change the microphone settings as well too, right?

Backup plan is to just use my Chromebook or SurfacePro 6, but I would prefer to use my MacBook Pro 15 (Mojave 10.14.5-18F203 and Safari 12.1.1-146072.2.6.1.1).
