Move photo into album and delete from camera roll

Was there a solution for moving photos into albums and having them deleted from camera roll?

iPhone XS Max, iOS 12

There is none. The Camera Roll is always showing all photos in your Photos Library. when you add a photo to an album, it is not moved to the album, just added to it. The albums are not storing separate copies of your photos, but just referencing the photos in your library, that you are seeing in your camera Roll. So each photo is only stored once in the library. Deleting a photo from the camera roll will delete it everywhere in your library and from all albums that are referencing it.
