Deleting photos but keeping in an album
I’m curious if I can delete a photo from the camera roll but keep it in an album I’ve added it to?

NO you can't. An album isn't a "place" it's a list of images that should be displayed together. So there's only one copy of the image, and if you delete that from the Camera Roll or Library, you delete it everywhere.
