apple wallet invalid card & card activated by bank but awaiting verification code

"Jonathan UK"'s fix from 2yrs ago is still valid (thank goodness) and sadly still needed.

Fix this, Apple!

iCloud logout

passcode off

restart iphone

iCloud login

passcode on

Had to then also re-verify all cards on iPhone and it appears I will have to bounce everything on the Mac in similar fashion. All of this just to add a card.

...and had to manually add in the first place because it appears that Apple may be using "User Name" vs "Actual Name" when auto-reading card, thus resulting in "invalid card". When I go to enter manually, it's auto-filling with "user name". Simply need a way to verify and correct that when it reads as one can do manually.

Manual entry would still not have been a big deal if bank auth and card verification were more seamless.
