iCloud Email Help

Hi, so I was wondering if there is a way to change the iCloud email that is associated with my apple ID. I changed my apple ID to a different email address but my iCloud email stayed the same, except for the @icloud part. I've looked around the internet a little bit, but haven't found any solutions except for how to create a new iCloud... which I don't want to do since I would lose my data.
