icloud email change

Hello, I am trying to change my icloud email but it keeps directing me towards my apple id. I have deleted my original icloud email awhile ago, but the account still remains and is active. How can I change the email without losing my documents?

iCloud Email Help Hi, so I was wondering if there is a way to change the iCloud email that is associated with my apple ID. I changed my apple ID to a different email address but my iCloud email stayed the same, except for the @icloud part. I've looked around the internet a little bit, but haven't found any solutions except for how to create a new iCloud... which I don't want to do since I would lose my data.

changing email associated with Apple iCloud ID Hi, I am trying to change my email that is linked with my Apple ID to a new email. I want to make sure though my iCloud won’t get changed or lost. I already went through settings and changed the email. But now it says to sign out of my Apple ID and sign in with my new one. But then I am worried my current iCloud will be lost
