Apple Watch didn’t record exercise ring

The original post for this was by someone else in 2015, and I tried resetting calibration on my watch as that answer suggested, but I am still having this problem in 2019 after the recalibration. I recorded an outdoor walk in the city yesterday for 46:12 minutes, going 1.83 miles, which was recorded as an outdoor walk on the app, but my exercise ring only shows 1 minute during the walk. Q1: is there a way to correct the exercise ring manually? Q2: how do I get the exercise ring to record accurately?

You can’t manually adjust the exercise ring. I would suggest you reset your watch. Press the crown and side button in untill the Apple logo appears. Also Check your Watch is updated to 5.2.1and your iphone is running ios 12.3.1. Finally still having issues Unpair your Watch and repair it. You can also calibrate your Watch. Rest the calibration in the Watch app on your iPhone. And do a 20 minute walk or run.
