desktop mac keeps changing place

My new Mac seems to decide on it's own the order of my five desktops. Again and again they change place during the day but also when I start the machine up in the morning. #5 is on 3, #2 is on 4 etcetera.

What makes this happen?

Review: How to Customize Mission Control on a Mac, which states...

"The first option allows Mission Control to automatically rearrange Spaces based on most recent use. If you ever been using your Mac and tried to switch between desktops, only to discover they’re not in the order you thought they were, this is probably why. It’s probably safe to disable this."
