Copy/paste images in Numbers

How do I copy and paste images in cells from one doc to another? I've tried selecting all at once by activating the column (result: no images at all copied), and selecting each individually by holding down command and select (result: all images appear in one cell). Any help much appreciated.

Images may be pasted into cells as 'image fill'.

'Image fil'l is 'format', not content.

To copy the format applied to a cell, including image fill

  • Select the cell(s)
  • Press option-command-C to copy the cell's format settings.

To paste the format into one or more cells:

  • Select the cell(s)
  • Press option-command-V to paste the format to the new cell(s).

Barry
