Activation lock

I have an iphone 6.It stopped working a month ago.i got it repaired and now its asking the activation lock.Its not stolen.i bought this phone from my sister.I have the box of this fone as well.the problem is that they are asking for the apple id and password to open the activation lock but my sister forgot her apple id and password.please help me to reactivate my phone.

Has she tried : If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support ?


Or, and if she was the original purchaser of the phone (i.e. it’s not second-hand), she could try going to an Apple Store (she should make a Genius Bar appointment if she does) or try contacting iTunes Support online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the phone from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they might help e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it (the box is not proof of ownership)
