I am looking to purchase an all terrain case for my new iPad mini 5th generation. When looking online there doesn’t appear to be much in terms of iPad 5, however, there are plenty of options for iPad 4. Any comparisons show the sizes as being the exact same. Is this the case and the iPad 4 cover will be suitable for the new model?

So it’s basically new guts in the old chassis....4th gen cases will fit a 5th gen with one catch
The 4th gen back microphone was by the camera, the 5th gen is in the middle upper back. So as long as you don’t care about recording video, it doesn’t matter. Or you get a case where you can make a hole.. (a cheap silicone case and a hole punch can fix it)
Or you look for cases where there’s a cut out hole for the mic. Amazon is the best place to look. Even if you don’t buy from there it can give you an idea of brands.
