How to read metadata (i.p. shutter speed)

Hello everybody,

I am handling footage from different camera: same FPS, different Shutter Speed. I need to read clip's metadata (in particular shutter speed) how can I do it in FCPX? Inspector window doesn't seem to help.

BTW is there any way to conform the shutter speed of different clip to the needed one in FCPX?

Thanks so much in advance for you help

Nico

PS: I am using Mojave and FCPX is fully updated

Shutter speed is something that you cannot fix in post - it's just how your camera recorded. Well, you can add some blur to simulate a slower shutter speed, or some other effects, but as always it is best to shoot as intended rather than fixing it in post.

Shutter speed CAN be seen in the Inspector, if the camera recorded it in the clip metadata.

Just open the Inspector and choose an appropriate metadata view (probably EXIF), or create your own custom metadata view.
