How can I get a refund for a subcription purchase that I can not use?

I purchased the MLB Subscription a couple days ago to watch the Braves games that I can't get with my TV provider. Turns out all the Braves games are blacked out for my area (3.5 hours from Atlanta). I have contacted the app store and they say my purchase does not qualify for a refund. The people at MLB say I have to get a refund through iTunes.

Contact iTunes Support again and see what they say : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
