Notifications

I don’t receive a vibrating notification nor an audio notification for one of my contacts. When I go to my text messages, there is a little 1/2 moon shape next to this contact. This is the only contact that I have this problem with.

Sound notification on specific contacts in my messages app. There is no sound to notify me if I get a message from several contacts on my list. I also see a "no sound" icon by their names on my list of recent texts. I have turned on sound notification for messages on everything I can find and have gone into the "info" section for these contacts but can see nothing I can change to fix it. I'm sure someone out there knows the answer to this and can enlighten me!

Not getting message notifications i haven’t been getting message notifications. I thought it was a Focus or do not disturb problem so I disabled them. When I get a message, I see the contact name, a bit of the message and a bell with a slash on the right. When I checked all of my contacts, they are now all set to mute notifications? What happened and how can I fix it?

No text sound from only one contact I get alerts when I have a text message from everyone but one contact. I am wondering why.

There's an easy fix.

Tap the conversation with this contact.

Tap ">" next to the name of the person.

Tap "i" info.

Toggle off "Hide Alerts" (it should become gray)
