Skype Microphone Access iPad Mini 3

I have installed Skype on my mini 3. During installing, instructions were to allow access to microphone, camera, notifications in settings. Skype does not appear under privacy>microphone, even after uninstall/reinstall. One texting app does. Microphone does not appear under Skype>allow Skype to access. If I try to make a test call, I am redirected to settings to allow microphone access. I've been going around in this vicious circle for hours with no success.

Also, should Facetime setup be the same as for Skype?
