It came with earphones that plug into the Lightning port. If you want to use a different wired headset you need to buy a Lightning to 3.5 mm adapter-->https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MMX62AM/A/lightning-to-35-mm-headphone-jack-adapter?fnode=97
