I have a iPad Pro 2 and it makes weird noises whenever I connect it to my MacBook Pro and it also says that it is not charging while it is connected. I would like to take it to Apple, but it has a long scratch/crack along the screen and I’m not sure whether because of it the warranty is void?

When did you buy the iPad? It came with a one year warranty new out of the box unless you purchased AppleCare+ which extended the warranty to two years. Because of the screen being cracked, Apple will offer you an out of warranty replacement for about 60% of the price of the iPad when new.
OK, if you purchased this in July 2018, you are still within your one year warranty. The best advice is to take it to your Apple Store Genius Bar and they'll tell you your options. None of us here work for Apple. We're just volunteer users helping other users.
