Muffled Mic Problem

Hi,

So I recently got a new silicon case from the Apple Store. Ever since I got this case, on occasion, when I’m taking a video, my mic will sound muffled. It sounds like I’m underwater or that I’m covering the mic with a pillow so that sound is limited.

This issue has ONLY been happening since I got this silicon case and when I was using my previous plastic case I had absolutely no issues. If I take the silicon case off there are no problems!

I’m a bit irritated as this case was $40 and I don’t exactly want to drive back to an Apple Store for a return... But I am certain it is the case!

Why is this happening? The mic is not covered!

Has anyone else has this problem?
