Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like you are seeing a flickering image of a previously watched video when you watch a new one on your MacBook Air.


Try resetting the NVRAM. Here are instructions: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac.


If that doesn't resolve the issue, the next step would be to isolate the issue to your user account only or system-wide. The best way to do this is to test the issue in a new user account: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac.


If it does occur in the new user account, that may indicate a hardware issue and you should contact support.
