Internet download speed, phone, tablet, AppleTV and MacBook Pro

Testing download and upload speeds, with ping speed, on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro and Apple TV, the results for iPhone and iPad were variable, one test to the next, taken sequentially, 7Mbps to 14Mbps downloads, 1Mbps upload, Apple TV was about the same. But MacBook, using Mojave and the latest update, was 0.5 - 0.3 download and 0.8-0.9 upload.

What’s going on?

iPhone SE, iOS 12

Router issues can cause problems with the internet. If your internet is as slow when your smartphone or other device is connected to Wi-Fi, chances are, the trouble is not with your Mac. To fix the slow connection, try restarting your router. Simply turn it off, wait a few seconds and turn it on again.
