Podcast validation error

When trying to make podcast available on iTunes I get this error "Can’t download episodes from your feed." I can manually subscribe to through iTunes but it's not working when trying to validate.

This is the link I am using https://www.christchurch.org.au/?feed=rss2&post_type=wpfc_sermon

I am using wordpress and a plugin called sermon manager

Does anyone know why I am having trouble?

I can't see any reason why this should be, except that your 'itunes:duration' tags still read "0:00" - I don't know whether this would affect Podcasts Connect but it will result in your episodes not playing in the Store, so it's quite possible.

It's essential to get this right. If, for example, you have an episode of 20 minutes and your tag reads "0:05:00" (5 minutes) the Store will stop playing it after 5 minutes - it believes what it's told.

You can't submit again anyway, but you can modify the feed, hopefully before they get round to it. If it does get rejected you can correct it and submit it again.

The durations go in the 'itunes:duration' in the format H:MM:SS or just MM:SS but I'm afraid I can't advise on how to do this in WordPress. They have a Help page at https://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/podcasting/

I just checked your feed in Podcasts Connect and it said 'Prepared for submission' meaning it's OK, so possiblyyou just hit a glitch,

However, your 'itunes:duration' tags read 0:00 and although this doesn't affect iTunes when subscribing the Store tends to believe what it's told and will assume your episodes have zero length. You need to enter the correct duration in each one in the format H:MM.
