Apple will replace your iPod battery by exchanging the iPod with a refurbished one with a new battery for $79 (USA). Or you could do a Google search on "replace iPod battery" for a local or on line repair place that will replace the battery in your existing iPod. You can even find a replacement battery (same search) for about $10 and replace it yourself if you're up to it. You can find instructions on You Tube.
