I went from a IPHONE 6 to an XS and the pic size is much larger than the old phone. Is there any way to lower the resolution on the XS so the pic is smaller? I use it for work and its added easily 20-30 minutes to a simple report because of the shear size of the photo. And I don't want to email myself the pics... thats just stupid.

thank you,

iPhone XS Max, iOS 12

The photo is much larger because the newer phone has a higher resolution camera. That creates larger photos. If you are attempting to create some type of work report directly from the phone and using the photo, that is going to happen. If you explain how you are entering or using the photos, maybe someone could explain reducing the size of the photo, but otherwise you are going to have to make those changes with photo editing software.
